It supports entrepreneurs looking to get sustainable and commercially viable projects off the ground, and investors searching for projects that reflect the issues they’re passionate about. In the past, retail investors have been locked out of global investment opportunities, with only the very wealthy given access to sustainable investing. Koodoo is changing this by bringing great ideas from around the world to investors everywhere. Using global investments to solve global issues: Koodoo requires that all campaigns’ social ambitions are aligned with at least one of three areas covered by the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals: planet, people, and responsible business. A robust selection process is in place for companies who fundraise on the platform. Prospective campaigns must meet a strict set of criteria (details below) and have the ambition to positively impact at least one of Koodoo’s campaign categories.
