Kolmostar is a tech startup founded in 2016, with one office in Silicon Valley in U.S. and one in China. We are specialized in utilizing our algorithms and softwares to provide an ultimate GNSS (GPS) positioning solutions for various applications such as smart wearables, IoT, smart phones, autonomous driving, AR etc. Our positioning solutions have two focuses: ultra low power and high precision. Ultra low power solution is designed for applications that only have a very small battery but the device usually needs to be turned on for a long time, such as smartwatch. High precision solution is designed for applications like autonomous vehicles. Today, autonomous vehicles adopt multi-sensor fusion, using high precision GPS+IMU+LiDAR+Vision+HD Map. We approach positioning from a fundamentally different methodology. Our founder and CEO Vincent developed totally different algorithms and mathematics to calculate positions.
