• Responsible for providing technical applications support for the development and implementation of KLA reticle and photomask inspection systems. Makes presentations on all aspects of products.
• Be responsible for acceptance test, customers training, recipe setup, project execution, alpha/beta testing and related pre-sales activities.

• Prototyping and developing machine control and business logic solutions to build next generation products.
• Design, development, test and roll out solutions.

• Customer support: Product value demonstration during beta testing, Head-to-Heads (H2H) and tools in the ramp phase, thereby enabling product penetration/adoption at world-wide customers. This includes investigating semiconductor manufacturing yield issues and providing inspection solutions; creating & sharing product value statements and use-cases with engineering, marketing and sales groups; training customers and other applications engineers.

• Provide on-site and remote (phone/email) application support to customers
• Deliver product demonstrations and conduct end-user training sessions

• Support, maintain, and troubleshoot eBeam tools in customer environments
• Diagnose tool issues, identify corrective actions, and ensure optimal tool performance

• Characterization of next-generation, state-of-the art semiconductor wafer inspection products.
• Develop and review feature requirements, design test plans, collect data, perform analysis, publish results and recommendations in the form of applications notes and best-known methods.

• Design, develop, and optimize algorithms for pattern analysis, defect detection, classification, data processing, and other computational challenges in semiconductor inspection systems.
• Translate complex technical requirements into mathematical models and scalable algorithmic solutions.

• Having a strong understanding of defect detection, metrology, yield management, and experience in operating Linux/php/python is advantageous
• Ability to set priorities and work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders on multiple issues

• Developing new applications, use cases and best-known methods for increasing value of KLA products for customers.
• Must have analytical and complex problem-solving skills, be self-motivated and driven to make a positive impact.
