Kitchen Stories is a recipe site and mobile app that features step-by-step photo instructions and video tutorials on making dishes of various types. It also publishes culinary techniques and equipment information.

The service is available in 12 languages and has additional features such as the auto-generated shopping list, quantity calculator, and integrated timer.

Kitchen Stories was named among the “Best New Apps” of 2014 by Apple.

Kitchen Stories was launched by Mengting Gao and Verena Hubertz in February 2014 and its operations are based in Berlin, Germany.
