Kepler is by far the best early-stage team I’ve been part of (and that’s after four seed-stage startups)! As the first hire after the founders, what stood out immediately was how intentional, efficient, and ambitious Kepler is. Leadership is deeply technical, low-ego, and has real zero-to-one experience, which eliminates a lot of the typical startup thrash. Decisions are crisp, standards are high, and everyone is aligned around building something truly differentiated, not just following an existing playbook. We’re an engineer-first company that genuinely cares about making employees’ lives great. We invest heavily in removing friction across development, tooling, and operations so people can focus on doing their best work. Transparency and ownership are core to how we operate; everyone is treated like an owner because they are one. The technical problems are genuinely interesting, the vision is massive, and we're building a platform with the potential to change the landscape of massive industries like finance. Just as important, it’s a team I genuinely enjoy working with. We value real relationships and having fun along the way, from daily lunches to fetch with the office dog. I love coming to work every day because the bar is high, the people are exceptional, and what we’re building actually matters.
