Keiretsu Forum Northwest is an angel group with full-time staff. We are headquartered in Seattle but operate in the Northwest region. We work hard to provide the best experience for entrepreneurs and investors as that is good for our startup community. We evaluate companies, bring the ones we feel are most likely to survive our screening process, and the remaining companies pitch to our membership. Due Diligence follows this process and is a means for investors to make informed investment decisions. The Due Diligence intern should feel comfortable working directly with CEO's and investors in evaluating a company. The intern understands business well and can contribute in the evaluation process. The due diligence intern is a graduate student of business, lifesciences, or technology. Typically, the intern would attend our monthly events where he/she would help setup/teardown the event, then select a company to work with in due diligence, evaluate one aspect of the business, ask questions and communicate with the company of interest, then write up an analysis. We are currently looking for four interns: one based in Vancouver BC, Seattle, Eastside Seattle, and Portland. Our Deal Flow Analyst is an internship where the intern is evaluating up to 100/month of raw company applications based upon limited information. The intern is typically starting the undergraduate Freshman through Junior years and is interested in entrepreneurship. Each company requires checking out the management team, evaluating the business model, the market, the traction, financials, and raise. He/She should feel comfortable with learning and uncertainty.
