Karos is building a new transportation network leveraging machine learning and big data technologies. Thanks to predictive algorithms, Karos makes carpooling effortless for your daily trips through a simple mobile app. You can be driver, passenger or both, you don’t have to interact with Karos. Download it and go back to your everyday life. It learns automatically from your habits, matches your anticipated trips with the whole network and notifies you as soon as you can benefit from an improved transportation offer. Karos was created in 2014 by Olivier Binet (former senior growth capital investor) and Tristan Croiset (former senior developer at Criteo). We’re a team of 9 people passionate by our common goal and experts in our respective fields. A strong network of high-caliber advisors supports us. We raised 500K euros in December 2014 from prominent investors, including one of the Criteo co-founders. On July 1st, we were awarded “Grand Prix” by BPI France and the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
