We built Kanbanq because we were tired of project management tools that felt like a second job. Everything we tried was either painfully bloated or so minimal it was barely usable. So we made something better – a browser-based tool that’s simple, powerful and actually enjoyable to use.

Kanbanq is lean project management designed for solo devs, small teams, and hackers who want to get stuff done without fighting their tools. It combines the flexibility of Trello with the clarity of Notion and throws in just enough structure to handle real workflows like sprints, backlogs and team collaboration.

We’ve rethought common PM pain points from the ground up – from how you manage your backlog, to how you edit cards (yes, we have content blocks), to how progress is tracked across tasks. We’re also baking in real-time collaboration, AI-assisted planning and a few fun touches you’ll only spot if you click around.
