Junior Explorers, a 500 Startups company, teaches kids about nature and wildlife by creating fun, interactive learning experiences delivered through an award-winning program currently launched in 4 countries. Founded with a mission to inspire the next generation of environmental stewards, Junior Explorers teaches kids about wildlife and nature in a fun and engaging way. A social enterprise, the company fulfills its social mission by donating back a percentage of its profits to conservation. 

Each month, Junior Explorers go on exciting missions to explore different ecosystems, such as the Arctic in search of a missing polar bear, the Serengeti to observe the great migration, or to explore the Amazon. Every mission starts at home with a kit arriving in the mail that includes collectibles, activities, and information about that month's mission. Kids then go online and complete their mission through a rich gamified learning experience that's accessible on computers and mobile devices.
