The patent-pending software maintains a list of patients who are seeking an appointment sooner than the one they currently have. When a patient cancels an appointment AVENUE looks to see who on the wait list meets the appointment criteria, orders them to maximize revenue and then sends out an SMS invitation to the wait listed patients, one at a time, until one accepts the new appointment time.
