It is conceptualized and designed to promote disruption in India's financial services sector, supported by a paradigm shift in demographics, visible in the form of increasing mobile & internet penetration, adoption of technologies such as AI & blockchain and government initiatives such as 'Aadhar' (social security), 'Jan Dhan' (bank accounts for all), 'Startup India' (slew of benefits to Startups), 'UPI' (centralized payment system), and biometrics (thumbprint based payments), among others.
