Inyourclass aims to streamline university communications. Professors can interact with students in their courses, students can form groups to share notes/ideas and universities can disseminate campus-wide communications. Think of Slack for higher education.

Our current development is focused in two areas. One, we are going to extend the list of API third-party vendor integrations offered. Two, we have developed a hardware prototype leveraging the power of raspberry pi where we extend the reach of inyourclass into a live classroom instruction. At the moment the device has the capabilities to stream, or record video (we are working on sound), measure space occupancy and deliver real time alerts. However, these are only some features that have helped us prove our concept, our goal is to connect any sensor, device and wearable to our platform in order to leverage the collection of data, that is otherwise lost, in order to derive crucial conclusions and improve learning outcomes.
