We are redefining the psychological nature of design by creating a program that caters directly to the needs of the interior designer, and subsequently to human needs as inhabitants of the built environment. Interior design and human behavior are directly linked; design and space efficiency yields an increase in human wellbeing and improved mental/physical health. The built environment, itself, is a major contributor of greenhouse gas emissions and is responsible for high levels of energy consumption. In a world where climate change sits at the forefront of our major socio-ecological issues, the role of designers as problem solvers is more important than ever before. How can we create spaces that are accessible, sustainable, and that promote well-being for both their human inhabitants and for the environment simultaneously without the necessary tools? INKDUSTRIAL+ is reimagining thinking and design, and our goal is to enhance the experience of the interior designer through their most intimate and important design decisions.
