The Imperative team is passionate and has strong and diverse experience with companies including Google, GOOD, USAID and TED. Aaron Hurst, our CEO, is a visionary social entrepreneur who built and ran the Taproot Foundation for 12 years before starting his new venture along with Imperative. We are angel-funded and raising a Series A in early 2014. Imperative is located in the East Village, in New York City. As this will be a highly collaborative process, we prefer those who can be based out of our NYC office.
