What is Impact?

“We often walk through large crowds in public, and see many people. What if we are missing the people that could be impacting our lives the most?”. Impact is an app, developed around simplicity, that connects people in public together in a non-intimate way. It's a social media, not a dating app. You simply open the app, and see everyone around you. Once you see a profile, you can poke them, or "Impact" them, to get their attention. If they impact you back, it opens up a chat window. There are listed reasons for the Impact. Included: "you look familiar!" or "you're attractive" or "quick question!", and many more. To connect with music fans at a concert, to meet incoming freshmen at orientation, to meet sports fans at a sporting event. This is the app that connects the immediate public together.
