At IMMT we are developing an innovative technology platform EUREKABIOTIC, based on functional metagenomic approach. By functional metagenomics we mean collecting and analyzing microbes’ genetic material recovered directly from the environment. This enables us to obtain antibiotics from uncultured bacteria (see Technology).

IMMT approach consists of several unique steps: preselection of a relevant environment, cloning of the obtained DNA in bacterial and fungal hosts, as well as extraction and characterization of antibiotic compounds.

On the basis of the EUREKABIOTIC platform we will develop our product – antibiotic compounds (the essential antibiotic parts our clients use to make new antibiotics).

To make new, effective antibiotics that will benefit humankind, we are looking for investors and business development partners.
