Job Title Patient Services Representative Job Summary Ilaaj Technologies takes pride in providing excellent customer service along with the highest quality of care to all patients. The Patient Service Representative is responsible for all aspects of processing patient services and coordinating therapy services for patients. Patient Service Representatives must be detail-oriented and organized while juggling a busy environment and providing friendly, helpful care to our patients. REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES The Patient Service Representative must A graduate degree or equivalent, strong English spoken, computer and keyboard skills. 3+ years relevant experience is required, must function effectively in a digital environment, learning new software programs and managing patient information and services in electronic media, including but not limited to Electronic Health Records (EHR), and web-based transactions. The Patient Service Representative must possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, superior phone etiquette, conflict resolution skills. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to multitask and adapt to change, the ability to work as part of a team to meet department goals and be able to work in a very busy and ever-changing environment. The ideal candidate will also be able to work a flexible work schedule depending on department needs. RESPONSIBILITIES • The activities of the Patient Service Representative include, but are not limited to: • Answer all incoming calls with friendly and professional phone etiquette. • Verify demographic and insurance information for all patients needing products and services. • Work as a team with clinicians, front office staff, reimbursement and billing staff, other team members to meet patients’ therapy needs. • Keep up to date with insurance guidelines and regulations and maintains compliance. • Secure appropriate insurance authorization for patients
