The average cost per vote in the western countries is $6 per vote. That means that the cost of this election would be $6M.
Here at Igloovote we think that these $6M represent unnecessary sunk costs. Personally we want our political representatives to listen more often to the will of the majority by using direct democracy. Therefore we have patented a technology that makes it possible to vote on the Internet for a fraction of that current cost of $6 per vote.
The Igloovote technology is inspired by the Bitcoin concept of using a distributed architecture. The vote is anonym and doesn’t require any human supervision. It is as safe as Bitcoin and you only need a modern device, like a smartphone, to vote.
So, we could offer Barcelona a price of half a million dollars. They would save $5.5M and our costs would also be low. So in conclusion, it’s also a significant business for us.
