The portable Hydrobee USB charging system has a powerful turbine battery that is recharged by free energy in flowing water, wind, bikes, pulleys, fire, sun and more. The batteries can be hot-swapped off of the charging accessories to allow continuous power from several batteries. Because its core power system has so many charging sources it has the largest potential market of any off-grid personal energy system and will achieve low cost through high volume sales. We are targeting 5M campers and explorers, and 100M people living in energy poverty who need USB power for phones and LED lamps.

The developers produced hydropower turbines before, and one of them is the co-designer of the Sonicare toothbrush and is the Sole Designer of the Clarisonic skin brush.
