Founded by USC alumni, HULA is a mobile app that helps like-minded individuals connect with one another for all kinds of events. Hula was started from the realization that young adults love going to all kinds of events/conventions and how difficult it could be to find companions to go with. As frequent event-goers ourselves, we believe that genuine connections are built upon shared experiences, something that current meetup and dating apps can’t provide. Hula offers a variety of local cultural events, recommends them to users based on their event interests and matches them with individuals or groups.
