HowLoud is building the first sound map of North America and the largest sound map ever created. In the two months since we introduced our product we have been featured on NPR's AirTalk, CBS KCAL, LA Weekly, LA Curbed, Gizmodo, Architect Magazine, CityLab, Caltech's Engineering and Science Magazine and a handful of others. (howloud.net/press) In August we completed a successful Kickstarter campaign that raised almost $39,000. We have submitted a patent application for our technology and will have the first version of our map for the entire US completed by the end of 2015. We are completely self-funded and have enough funds to support us until we begin to take in revenue.
