We provide a SaaS solution to limit how far data travels to prevent data compromise. We limit how far a customer's "Crown Jewel" sensitive data can communicate. Crown Jewel machines are databases, middle-ware and storage systems hackers target because that is where valuable bulk data is stored.

We learn where each device is communicating, deriving the TTL/HOP distance between devices. TTL/HOP is akin to "Router Hop Budget Value" a data field inside every packet. As packets leave a device it has a default TTL/HOP, and like toll is decremented by one as it transits each router in a network. The beginning default value is dangerously high allowing for instance an Oracle database to travel through 255 routers before expiring. That means every device is capable of communicating the world by default.

Once we learn the hop distance, we can use a lower hop value that limits the packets to the data center preventing travel to internal or Internet threats.
