Hoozoo tackles the problem that networking at events is inefficient, sometimes awkward and many times not very successful. During networking events, it is difficult to know who the other attendees are - Attendance lists on various event websites are not real time and often times inaccurate, business cards tend to be given at the end of a conversation. While you may have a great conversation with a fellow attendee, there may not be any mutual benefit from the conversation and little gained towards achieving networking goals for the event (‘meet someone from XYZ company’, ‘meet somebody in the Adtech industry’). Furthermore, the initial first time introduction can be awkward and difficult to make.
