We're an experienced team of developers, businesspeople and professional journalists who have figured out new ways of producing local news using a special combination of technology and on-the-ground reporting. Hoodline began life as a neighborhood blog covering the Lower Haight in 2010, and today we're one of the biggest news sites in the city — and the only one focused on the many neighborhoods in it. We've figured out how to quickly grow local news audiences, now we're working on some new ideas for making money.
