Going off the beaten track, Dubai-based start-up HolidayMe is looking to alter the world of online travel booking by introducing on-the-fly customisation of holiday packages. The novel concept has brought an enthusiasm into the travel industry and been received very well in the burgeoning Middle-East market as HolidayMe has managed to bag Series A funding from Saudi-based investors. The start-up intends at giving the control in the hands of the customers by allowing them to pick holiday packages and customise them based on their personal choices from a wide inventory of over 1,00,000 hotels, 8,000 sightseeing activities and airport pick-up and drop facility across 300 cities globally. Taking a break from the archaic, insipid packages offered by other portals, HolidayMe gives the customer the chance to decide their own holiday destiny!
