We're working on hard technical problems in a consumer product which serves real people every day. Our React Native mobile client has challenges in building new user-facing features and optimizing application and data performance to make the experience fast for everyone. The system is built around open conversation hierarchies which can be challenging to manage, visualize, and navigate well in the UI/UX. Our backend work involves scoring data for personalized network connections and consumption experiences, search quality content scoring and other data/analytics improvements. We operate as a globally distributed team today. We're beginning to build out a hub of talent in India, but support remote workers in many countries around the world. We coordinate every day on Slack/Github and at least once globally per week on Zoom. We stay very connected to each other as a small engineering team where everyone's contributions matter.
