Domestic helpers, sometimes also called maids, are hired by wealthy households everywhere in Asia and the Middle East. Until now, the recruitment process was handled by small offline businesses, with a debatable efficiency, and high cost for employers. At the same time, most of these businesses charge illegal fees from job-seekers, participating in a whole chain of human trafficking in some cases. HelperChoice was created to disrupt the existing industry by offering a safe online platform where all actors could connect easily and directly, cutting out the middleman.
