There is an enormous market for freelancers and contractor positions, and a huge need for quality software development. Unfortunately, existing platforms do not address the problem directly. Instead of helping companies find the engineers they're looking for, and helping engineers find projects that'd like to work on, existing platforms simply act as one big database allowing access to their data, usually for money or hidden ad fees.
