Headstart is tackling the >$50B autism treatment services market by creating a platform that allows providers of autism therapy to build and manage their own, independent practices

The >220,000 providers of autism therapy in the US are meaningfully underserved by employment options in the market today and are keen to find alternatives, as evidenced by clinician turnover rates of 45-75% and corroborated by a Headstart survey of over 140 autism therapy providers

Headstart is building a “business in a box” for providers - a single, integrated platform to power clinical operations, including revenue cycle management / billing, electronic medical records (EMR), scheduling, and other services to support providers’ practices

The solution will enable therapy providers to enjoy the flexibility of ‘being their own boss’, materially increase their income, and most importantly, focus on providing excellent care to patients while Headstart handles the rest

Headstart closed its pre-seed round of $2mm from Asymmetric Capital Partners (acp.vc) in December 2023
