Jobs at Ignition
Product launches are one of the most foundational processes at any company – one of the few critical moments that brings together every department, and impacts both product and GTM. However, anyone who has ever been through a launch universally describes them as "shitshows". Information is scattered and maintained across a dozen tools and half-dozen departments, communications are largely managed via endless email copy/paste and live meetings, and best practices are left by the wayside as the process is repeatedly reinvented and executed from scratch. There are no organizing principles. Every launch feels different, but they're all the same. Typically, companies try to address this problem by throwing bodies at it. They hire huge teams of Product Marketers or Program Managers to coordinate the many moving parts. And those teams add to the fragmentation by bringing their own tools. We believe that this fragmentation of information, manual coordination, and poor implementation of best-practices lead to suboptimal launches which cost companies millions of dollars per year in missed revenue opportunity and team productivity, and solving this problem is a billion-dollar opportunity. There should be a a single hub for planning, executing, and reporting on product launches end-to-end, which leverages integrations to make the entire process run more smoothly. That's what Ignition is. Ignition is backed by some of the best investors in the valley including Bling Capital, Hiten Shah, Jack and Max Altman, and executives from Uber, Opendoor, Techcrunch, Sentry and others. Our founding team has extensive experience building at high-growth, industry leading companies like Rippling, Facebook, Craft and Playstation.
