Hatsumi VR careers

Hatsumi is a therapeutic virtual reality platform uniting psychosomatic experience with artistic expression. Hatsumi bridges the intersection of behavioural healthcare, art and technology to create a therapeutic communication platform, designed to be used in tandem with existing therapeutic models.
Users are able to visually translate complex emotions and experiences on a life size 3D avatar using 3D painting tools, using colours, textures and words, which can be saved, anonymously shared and explored through an online archive. Hatsumi can be applied in a variety of contexts, designed for healthcare providers, research institutions and those with an interest in exploring their own experiences and developing deeper self knowledge, and understanding of internal experience (also known as interoception).
