Grit invests in Automation and Logistics for traditional industry: construction, agriculture, manufacturing, energy, healthcare and transportation. Our current portfolio includes market leading companies in robotic harvesting, vertical farming, autonomous property maintenance, autonomous drywalling, haptic intelligence, and next gen manufacturing to name a few. We think that the most interesting companies of the Industry 4.0 wave will be founded by Masters and PhD students and are currently being fostered in university labs settings. We lead rounds, take board seats and help brilliant technical companies commercialize.

Grit believes in the power of disruptive ideas and diverse teams. We are looking to fund teams with at least one woman founder or a founder with a racially underrepresented background. Grit is located in Silicon Valley, Austin and Pittsburgh.
