Imagine a community of passionate entrepreneurs creating renewable and clean energy technologies that transform the ways in which we live, work, and play. Welcome to Greentown Labs.

Founded by entrepreneurs, we set out to create a vibrant community that provides energy and hardware entrepreneurs access to flexible and low-cost working space. From our new facility in Somerville, MA (completed Sept. 2013) we now support 34,000 square feet of prototyping and co-working space. We provide access to shared machine tools, 3D printing, and access to leading mathematic and engineering tools.

Greentown is currently home to 37 companies working in a variety of energy and hardware-related fields. Our incredibly collaborative member companies regularly work together on topics ranging from SBIR funding to TIG welding. Our network of sponsors, investors, and service organizations bring to bear incredible resources to help our member companies grow and succeed.
