Metercloud is targeting enterprise customers such as utilities, municipalities or process oriented industries who utilize a network of connected things to gain operational excellence, process intelligence and resource efficiency.

Within the next few years, utilities worldwide will deploy around 800 million smart meters.Organizations will leverage decreasing hardware / communication costs to install billions of smart connected things. A vast amount of data will be generated. Like natural resources (oil, gas, etc.), data has to be explored, harvested, refined and distributed to build the smart services driving value generation with the industrial Internet-of-Things.
