• Serve as a trusted advisor to the General Manager and division leadership team.
• Develop a deep understanding of the division's operations, customers, products, and market dynamics.

• Meet sales goals including but not limited to: sales dollars, sales volume, profit, new accounts, etc.
• Integrate with customers’ organization to understand business, culture, needs, and key decision makers to create partnership between organization.

• Design and develop new packaging as well as revise existing packaging, focusing on cost reduction and performance enhancements.
• Produce samples and small production runs of prototypes using the CAD table for testing purposes, including writing and transmitting specifications as needed.

Position Overview

This on-site position will work closely with the design team, sales representatives, and customers to create structural designs and prototype samples that meet our customers' needs.

• Partner with Sales & Marketing to define gaps in GBP’s product portfolio and identify new growth opportunities within the pressure sensitive industry.
• Work directly with customers to understand and define their wants, needs & associated value of new technologies·

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to nonconformances, customer complaints, product returns, rework, and corrective and preventive actions.
• Investigate quality issues, conduct root cause analyses, and implement effective corrective actions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Lead the Quality Team consisting of an Engineer, Claims Analyst, Specialist, Incoming Inspector, and 16 Technicians, setting expectations and providing performance feedback.
• Establish and oversee raw material incoming inspection activities and vendor claims and corrective action process.

• Assist engineers with product design, prototyping, testing, and validation activities for new and existing products.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret technical data to support research, product development, and continuous improvement projects.

• Design POP displays from conception to completion.
• Design projects by analyzing customer specifications/requirements, for example, structural and material recommendations, testing prototypes, and creating preliminary instruction sheets.

• Drive sales growth and profitability by expanding key accounts while opening new customers and markets.

• Assisting EI&C Department Engineers in assigned tasks
• Creating value-added changes in the Distributed Control System (DCS) and PLC programming

• Design and develop new and revised corrugated packaging and display solutions, including cost reduction and performance improvements.
• Create prototypes and samples using CAD software and sample cutting tables for testing and validation.
