With 1,000's of stories in your pocket, we are purposefully going big into new territory and using the go-to-market playbook use by Apple for music and Netflix for movies and shows. We have a wide variety of genres, brand new and name brand writers alike, and we offer the world's largest and fastest-growing catalog of high-quality fiction.
The reading experience combines the features of a standard e-reader like iBooks and Kindle with the social features of a publishing platform like Medium. Users can collect and share their favorite stories, form "story clubs" with their friends, discuss stories over social media, and even converse directly with the writers themselves.
As our audience grows we are looking at user data to determine which stories to sell for in-app purchase and which experiences should require subscription plan.
