Gray Oncology Solutions has a vision of an oncology workflow where each patient’s journey through their cancer treatment is personalized for them, and statistically optimized to provide the best possible clinical outcomes. In pursuit of this vision, our first product launch is resource allocation software focused on optimizing the functional efficiency of oncology clinics (GrayClinic). The core technology behind this is the creation of the oncology clinic’s digital twin. With this twin, historical data is used to model the future which then informs (and optimizes) the present. As the physical state of operations evolves, so too does the twin. Operationally, this translates to the optimization of patient scheduling while explicitly incorporating the complex multi-disciplinary workflow (and existing bottlenecks). This results in reduced patient wait-times, higher patient throughput, reduced stress and ultimately, superior patient care. A major component of the digital twin is a patient portal/application that allows for a patient to visualize their entire cancer care trajectory (with predicted duration, delays, etc..) along with the ability to input preferences that will be taken into account during scheduling. This patient-facing trajectory will begin immediately after being diagnosed, all the way to follow-up and everything in between (whether it's chemo, radiotherapy, surgery, etc..).
