Secondhand marketplace search engine - find listings across sites in one place
Grabbit is building a simple idea that should exist by now: one search for the secondhand internet.

Today, finding a specific item means bouncing between Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, Depop, and other resale sites - each with its own search quirks, inconsistent categories, and limited filters. Great deals get missed because the search experience is fragmented, slow, and noisy.

We’re solving that by creating a secondhand marketplace search engine that aggregates listings from multiple sources into one place. Grabbit helps shoppers and deal hunters search once, browse results across marketplaces, and then jump to the original listing to message a seller or buy where the transaction actually happens.

The hard problems we’re tackling are the ones that make “one search” genuinely useful:
- Relevance at scale: turning messy, inconsistent listing titles and descriptions into accurate results that feel instant.
- Deduplication and quality: reducing near-duplicates, spam, and low-signal listings so users see real options, not clutter.
- Freshness: keeping results up to date across fast-moving inventories where items sell quickly.
- Location-aware discovery: making local shopping work well, while still surfacing the best options nearby.
- A trustworthy UX: being transparent that listings come from third-party marketplaces, and sending users to the source to complete the purchase.
- Grabbit is built for people who love finding deals - thrifters, flippers, collectors, and anyone who prefers buying used first. Our goal is to make secondhand shopping faster, easier, and a lot more fun.
