I'm a musician/bandleader/owner of a dueling pianos company. This means a lot of my time is spent booking musicians. However, booking musicians months in advance means that text messages about pay get buried, details get lost, and players get double booked. Or, on the otherside of the coin, there's no good way to find a replacement performer if a player gets sick or has a sudden conflict. There should be an app for that (well, now there is).

I've been developing an app to facilitate the communications between band leaders and their performers. Whether it's a band with the same 4 people every weekend, or a jobbing band with a rotating roster of 50 pro musicians, this app would make all the management details easier. It would allow leaders to communicate in an organized way, sync gig invites with calendars, pay performers, locate new players, share sheet music, and get out of the office! I built the app for my company, but it's something any band can use.
