Jobs at Good Uncle
Good Uncle is a virtual food hall delivering hot meals in under 10 minutes. We license recipes from top restaurant brands and bring them to college markets nationwide. We use technology everywhere in our operation to ensure the fastest delivery speeds in the world – from our user app to the state-of-the-art equipment in our local kitchens and delivery fleet and all proprietary software that makes our operation hum. Our menu consists of top-rated recipes from some of NYC’s best brands, like Joe’s Pizza and Ess-a-Bagel, and everyday healthy options created by our in-house culinary team, led by Erik Battes of Jean Georges, Starr Restaurants, and Iron Chef fame. We launched our pilot market at Syracuse University in September 2016, followed by University of Delaware in September 2017 and University of Maryland in January 2018. We will open University of Alabama and University of North Carolina Chapel Hill in September 2018. Our objective is to scale into thousands of markets. Good Uncle is founded by successful entrepreneurs, Wiley Cerilli & Matt Doumar, who sold their previous business for nine figures. We have raised significant funding from an all-star list of investors, including the founding team of Sweetgreen, Tom Colicchio, First Round, Pritzker Group, Lerer Ventures and Box Group, along with 30 of the top technology founders and CEO's, from Warby Parker to Birchbox.
