We focus on identifying and understanding specific challenges or barriers to work, and then building tech- and data- focused solutions to overcome them. One of our primary areas of focus is on UK veterans, and veteran employment.
In partnership with Forces in Mind Trust and the Ministry of Defence, we are undertaking a project to better understand the challenges faced by both sides of the market, and use these insights to help build a better labour market for veterans and employers. The first phase of this programme is a 6-month stakeholder engagement and consultation process in The Solent (Southampton, Portsmouth, Gosport). Alongside this, a feasibility assessment will be undertaken to assess the appetite for a place-based pilot project, rooted in tech and data.
The second phase, dependent on the outcomes and recommendations of phase one and the funding secured, would then be designing and delivering a place-based pilot in The Solent to turn these findings into action and impact.
