The cost, accessibility, environmental impact and simply the inconvenience of commuting in South Africa, has gotten out of hand. The ever increasing petrol price and traffic, is making commuting a joke. Parking is expensive, assuming it is even available. So much time is spent hacking. Dave Colley, the founder of Go Electric envisages a South Africa without the Internal Combustion Engine. “We are going to transform the end to end commuter experience, by going direct to the consumer and providing high quality, affordable alternatives in the electric transport market.”
