At Gitter we're growing a communication network for developers and people who create software. We are home to thousands of open source software communities and help private teams communicate better. We're a small, close-knit team of developers building software for other developers. Gitter is used by over 15,000 open source projects on GitHub, including Joyent/node, iojs/io.js, airbnb/javascript, jashkenas/backbone, marionettejs/backbone.marionette, learnboost/mongoose, meteor/meteor and many others. One thing we've discovered building Gitter is that it's the most fun we've had building software in a long time. You don't have to imagine some fake persona for your users, you are your users. We use the product every day, something annoying you, fix it, want to make it better, build it.
