Senior Software Engineer

At Gisual, we are developing infrastructure intelligence technology to eliminate all connectivity outages. Currently, Gisual aids service providers in diagnosing outages through automation. We collaborate with some of the world's leading brands, including AT&T, Windstream, Microsoft, Frontier, General Dynamics, amongst others.

To realize a future without internet outages, we, as a company, aim to recruit leading experts in the field of Software Engineering. For instance, one of Gisual's AI experts has created an open-source model capable of detecting 28 different emotions from plain text, currently this model has 10 million downloads. This is just one example of the exceptional team we have assembled at Gisual.

We also believe that to achieve this ambitious mission, we must work together as one cohesive team, in person. Gisual's HQ is located in King of Prussia, PA.

We are looking for an eager senior software engineer to join our engineering team. This person wants to be in an early-stage startup environment and is ready to work hard and build the world's best infrastructure intelligence technology. This person has experience using Python, and has a positive attitude towards new and challenging problems. This is a position that will allow you to work alongside world-class engineers.

Responsibilities

• Independently executes on complex backend engineering initiatives and tasks with minimal supervision
• Advocates for and implements changes to improve Gisual's software and operational stacks
• Turns product requirements into technical architectures and implements them
• Resolves bugs in a swift and efficient manner

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Python.
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on Python programming.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and propose effective solutions.
