Gist is a voice-based social media platform empowering voice creators to share exciting stories and ideas, with rewards for creators with the highest plays. Think a Youtube business model, meets Snapchat for voice, meets Twitter for voice. Think Gist.
We believe there's a market for a voice based unicorn and that everyone else has been trying to create a Twitter for voice product i.e User Generated Content, whereas the opportunity lies in a Youtube for voice product which empowers creators to create and share Gists that are truly entertaining and have the power to trend.
Gists get automatically deleted after a week unless a user decides to pin it to their profile. Users can also create and send private gists that delete in 24hrs just like Snapchat messages. We believe the time is now, and we are ready to take the leap forward.
