Culture and benefits at Gikken
Culture overview
We're small but very independent. The only type of funding we have is customers. The only party we report to is customers, too. We love our users, and they love our software. Our philosophy is simple: we want to create best-in-class products which people will love & use every day. We'd be happy to see more diversity in our team to catch up on what we may have overlooked. We firmly believe that fresh ideas and a different perspective may help us move forward. We (co-founders Alex & Andrew) have been working remotely for 4.5 years before settling in Berlin. Even though we like being in the same room as it embraces idea generation and speeds up problem solving very often, we're very well aware of the remote work culture.
Annual 25% profit sharing
We split 25% of profits equally between all team members.
Up to 3% in company shares
We're willing to make the first team members more engaged by giving out up to 3% of company shares vested over a few years.
Work-from-home friendly
You don't have to be with us 9-to-5 as long as job is being done. Sometimes we work from home, too.
Unplugged vacations
Resting well is important for your mental health, quality of life, as well as efficiency at workplace. We prefer unplugged vacations over 'workations'.
