People at Genius Academy

I have been fortunate enough to work and collaborate with K. Rocco Shields and the rest of the team at Genius Academy for many years, and I have never been more excited to be working and contributing than I am with the current work being done there. The idea of bringing education to everybody everywhere is a simple but terribly complicated one. In my time working in education, I have seen how those with means and resources have been able to access content and tools that far exceed the effectiveness of those accessible by the less-fortunate students at under-funded schools. From day-one, Genius Academy has been focused on bringing the very best in educational media to the masses, and I truly believe that everybody benefits from affordable, effective education. Beyond being visionary content creators and educators, the team at Genius have always showcased a strong desire to “change the world” with the work we are doing. Equality, equity, diversity, and inclusion have never been just buzzwords, but rather foundational concepts that this company has been built upon. You will be hard-pressed to find an organization doing more to strengthen and support the efforts of educators in the classroom. For me, as a creative professional and artist, every day brings new opportunities to innovate and explore what media is capable of. We develop, produce, and distribute content completely in-house, so there is always something new and exciting for me to be working on. There is tremendous creative freedom and encouragement to express myself through my work, and there is always something new to learn and invent, as we collectively strive to change how content and media is created and delivered. There is literally nothing else like Genius Academy in the fields of education and entertainment. It is a fantastic place to work and a beautiful vision to strive toward.
