GatherMade is a venture-backed startup ($4.4m raised) and Stanford GSB led consumer marketplace company based in SF. We're on a mission to transform how families get food on the table, relieving the burden of cooking from busy parents, while enabling anyone to make a living cooking from home.

We are looking for a founding engineer to join our founding team in advance of our Series A. In this role, you will have the opportunity to set the strategic direction, rapidly iterate on product, and build the technical infrastructure of a rocket ship.

? We're disrupting the hot $200B market for family dinners through a revolutionary marketplace of wholesome meals by local at-home cooks, empowering anyone to make a living by cooking from home, which is only recently possible due to regulation changes.

? We just raised an oversubscribed $4m+ seed round (closed in <2 weeks) from renowned investors, entrepreneurs and operators including Freestyle Ventures (Airtable, Patreon), Pear VC (DoorDash, Gusto), Jeffrey Housenbold (Board of DoorDash, Partner at Softbank), Leah Solivan (Founder of TaskRabbit), and Neeraj Berry (Co-Founder of Sprig) among others.

❣️We launched this summer and have served over a thousand meals to over 100 happy families who love our service, with the majority of customers ordering multiple meals every single week, giving us over 100% net-revenue retention and an average of 44% per week organic growth with zero marketing spend and strictly through word of mouth and referrals.
