Gather is building a curated marketplace that connects consumers and local businesses directly with vetted regional farms.

Today, the local food system is highly fragmented. Many small farms produce exceptional products but struggle with distribution and reaching customers efficiently. At the same time, restaurants, specialty grocers, and consumers often want access to high quality local food but lack a reliable way to source it.

Gather is designed to solve this problem by creating a single platform where customers can discover and order from multiple farms in one place, while coordinating sourcing and delivery through a centralized system.

The platform is being built to support:

• a consumer marketplace for multi-farm ordering
• a wholesale portal for restaurants, specialty grocers, and hospitality buyers
• tools for farms to manage inventory and onboarding
• operational systems that help coordinate aggregation and delivery

The long-term goal is to build the most trusted sourcing platform for local food in major cities.

Gather is currently in the early stages. The business model and operational framework have been developed, an early prototype of the platform has been built, and initial conversations with farms and restaurant partners have begun.

The next step is building the core platform and assembling the founding team to bring the product to market.
