Gamgee is 'conversationalizing' consumer healthcare information. Our platform and process suck in patient handouts and convert them into effective, spoken dialogues on mobile devices. Our 22otters app (patients have trouble forgetting the name) has a simple and engaging multi-modal interface, and our messaging is deliverable via SMS and voice calls in multiple languages. We're in use at a number of clinics nation-wide, and getting good RCT results as well as excellent reviews by patients and clinicians. Why are we different? We're focused initially on procedure prep rather than the crowded down-stream use cases, and we are heavily invested in voice interaction, both in and out (have you seen a lot of baby boomers pinching and spreading?). We also have a scalable content platform that allows us to customize per provider and move quickly to new use cases. Our goal? Be the first to critical content mass and "Handout 2.0," and be native on the devices of millions of sick people.
